Hey all I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks and it is extremely insightful. Lots' of good picks and views. I intend to start posting my picks throughout the week for Collge FB and I will hopefully be able to help out with input about the games and picks.

I am a extremely casual bettor and only spend $20 a week. My goal is to establish decent picks to win small amounts for the people who dont have the bankroll to go large. I love watching the games and having a little action on it makes the experience better, especially if I can sustain my bankroll and even make a couple of bucks. I will feature small parlay picks, a dog of the week and big spread pick of the week. I dont claim to have any inside info or and more insight to the games than anyone else but I hope this spin will be helpful for budget bettors. Keep an eye out for my Casual Picks coming this week.

Take care all

let me be the first person to commend you on your approach to betting......

casual bet, sweat the game a little bit, not gonna lose any sleep over it if lose kinda approach.....

nothing wrong with that my friend.......whats the harm????

many people spend thousands on hobbies like golf, fishing, hunting, ect..

good luck

I never really found the attraction of sports betting over the internet just because of how easy it is. I lived in Vegas for 5 years and if I had let's say a small 3 team parlal lose early, I would have to get in my car and go back to the casino. Not so over the internet. A new play is just a click away and maintaining discipline is key to keeping the betting fun. I won't ever get the rush of betting a dime on a game so I figure, why not just play small, enjoy the games, and not lose any sleep?

Like I said I don't have any info that no one else in this forum can't access or provide, just trying to establish a fun alternative to the budget gamblers who don't play small because of the sheer fact that there is no big payout. If I put $5 on a game to win me $8.55 I am happy. I see it as, me just getting good practice before I can start laying some serious cash..lol, wishful thinking.

GL to you man.. this is the right approach to take when trying to get into a new hobby such as betting on sports.

I basically did the same thing as I had less time to play poker once I got a full time job.. moved a bunch of money to a few different books and learned most lessons the hard way.

You can learn just as easily betting $5 on a game as you can $5,000

Much moreso then in Poker where playing .25/.50 tables non stop wont really help you grow as a player.

Anywho, Good Luck

20Five-

Nice honest blog you got. So often people like to just brag about their wins and don't say a word for losses. Hey I understand no one will ever be perfect and anything can happen in sports but I have just never been into gloating about it when I win or pick winners. Leave that for Scott Ferrall. I swear every time I pick a lock of his it flat out loses lol...Loved the explanation about home dogs and for me, the NFL is just a crapshoot. College a bit more predictable in my eyes.

Keep up the good work!
